I’m just kidding! All wine bottles can be opened with any type of wine opener. However, just as there are many different types of wine, there are also many types of wine openers for them. Below is a list of a few of my recommended ones!
Most of us are most familiar with the twist corkscrews (shown above), but there are many other kinds and different ways to use them. Here is your guide of the main wine openers.
The waiter’s corkscrew is also known as the sommelier knife or wine key. The waiter’s corkscrew has a double hinge that provides leverage that allows the cork to be removed easily once the screw has been inserted.
Electric Wine Opener
My absolute favorite wine opener because it is the easiest one to use! They usually involve a corkscrew that will spin around on its own at the press of a button. Most of these are either battery operated or require being charged every now and then.
Table Wine Opener
This one is probably the fanciest wine opener of them all. Like the electric wine opener, it is easy to use. It also serves as a wine holder and look at the aesthetics!
